FOREVER YOUNG & CUTTING EDGE: Bob Dylan Turns 75, Approximately

I wrote this part birthday tribute, part review of the massive, immersive “Cutting Edge” box set last year, when His Bobness reached the three-quarter century mark. Except for adding a digit to his age, not much has changed about Dylan in the 12 months that would make me dramatically reappraise what I said here. Not much except, of course, that Bob was awarded that little thing called a Nobel Prize for Literature in the interim. Like I said, the man is full of detours and surprises.
